*A NOTE ABOUT SOUND: The Parksville Murders uses a cutting-edge VR audio technology called ‘spatialized sound,’ which you can experience via a couple of different methods listed below. Spatialized sound refers to the underlying recording technology used to reproduce the spaciousness of sound in the physical space where the opera was filmed. When viewing our VR opera film formatted with spatialized sound, a viewer will experience the sound adjusting to the turn of his or her head and based on his or her location in the space. Basically, it is 3D audio.
The best approach to viewing this opera film we feel is on your smartphone ideally with VR glasses like Google Cardboard, but they are not necessarily required. See instructions below per device:
